In 1995, the Jolyon Armstrong Network was approached to manage and promote Great Britain Men's Hockey Team in the warm-up to, and during the 1996 Olympics, in Atlanta, USA. This account saw the Jolyon Armstrong Network bring the sport (not naturally in the sports' media spotlight) to the forefront of British attention. As a direct result of the hockey's apparent lacking from public view, both the players and managers needed direct advice and guidance regarding the two-way relationship with the media, so that it might be successfully manipulated to the benefit of the sport, organisers and players alike.
